David G. Stanley

Dave Stanley has worked for Central California Traction, the Oregon, California & Eastern, and Western Pacific as a trainman, and is now a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific. His work experience as well as acquaintance with many employees was essential to the project of writing the history, Central California Traction. A resident of Modesto, Davešs railroad photography has been featured in numerous books and both professional and hobby periodicals. He was also the founder of the famed Winterail photography exposition and produced the event until 1993.
